    1. Yep! They were originally used to mark road construction sites. Now, people use them as oil lamps on their decks and patios.

  3. These remind me of although I doubt that they are the things they used to have on top of barrels to use as signals for traffic in case of construction or something like that. They were lighted with fire. We used to melt our cats' whiskers with them and burn ticks we found on the dog. Penny
