And, I was frequently told I had lie bumps on my tongue. <br /><br />Whenever I would excuse myself after belching (I'm VERY ladylike, dontchaknow) I would hear, "Excuse a pig a hog knows better." <br /><br />If he was particularly happy, Pawpaw would declare (now, this one is rather vulgar) "I'm as tickled as a puppy with two peters." <br /><br />Asked how he was doing, he would often say, "I'm as fine as frog's hair." <br /><br />That's all I can think of at the moment that you haven't mentioned. I have no clue what the connection is. <br /><br />"Raining to beat the band", is one I use but I can't see what one has to do with the other.<br /><br />"Crazy as a bedbug".
